April 25, 2017 - Media Statement

First, I would like to say that Pilatus adheres to the highest international financial, regulatory and corporate governance standards and is fully engaged in complying with the laws, rules and regulations applicable to the Bank throughout the globe.

We are fully cooperating with authorities, as witnessed by our testimonies both yesterday and today in front of the magistrate, and are eager to prove that Pilatus has done nothing wrong and have our name completely cleared of any wrongdoings or improprieties.

Again ,we want to state emphatically that we would never perform any transaction or work with any party that could put our clients or the bank at risk with any of the numerous regulators we work with day in and day out.

We look forward to local authorities concluding their inquiries, which we have no doubt will yield the same conclusions we have achieved; that there has been no wrongdoing, which will then allow us to continue servicing our clients; and serving as a valued member of the business and banking community here in Malta.
